Rendering kitchens that actually look like kitchens
Great kitchen renders are mostly about three things: lighting, materials, and camera height.
Lighting
- One soft key light from the largest window
- A warm fill bounced off the ceiling
- Subtle under-cabinet strips for depth
Materials
Keep specularity low on matte cabinetry and crank micro-roughness on stone worktops. Plastic-looking renders almost always come from one slider being too high.
